Web RTF2HTML is a tool which translates rich text to HTML. There are three versions available, ASP, CFC, and SOAP. It is the ideal solution for displaying rich text stored in databases or MS Word files in your applications no matter which development platform you are using.

8/8/2006: Web RTF2HTML has been completely re-tooled. Previously, it was running on a COM object. The mechanism has been ported to a java bean and the code has been significantly reduced to be much more efficient. The service is only available via WSDL, unless you want to purchase a copy of the rtf2HTML engine yourself. If you would like to do this, let me know and I will point you to the proper person.
11/18/2004: Web RTF2HTML has been re-released under the Apache 2.0 License. I will have everything you need to run the program on your own server shortly. You MUST have MS Word installed on your server for this to run properly.
8/19/2003: Web RTF2HTML now outputs XHTML. I guess I should rename it Web RTF2XHTML, but I won't. CFC and SOAP versions updated. I am working on a manual for these converters. It should be done late this week or early next.
8/13/2003: SOAP Service and CFC are both fully active and functioning. Orders are now being taken for this product. The ASP product will be phased out within the next few months and will be shifted to open source sometime in Q4 2003 as the new services use updated technology.
2/1/2003: Web RTF2HTML is a rtf to html converter in ASP that is available in two version. Version A leaves all colors and formating as it is and carries them over to the generated HTML. Version B strips all this information. Version B is especially nice if you are applying fonts and whatnot via CSS.
